My Client is an international leader in the design and manufacture of high-quality underwater acoustic systems for use in the global oil & gas industries, marine research institutions, harbour construction companies, environmental monitoring and military applications among others.

ROLE

There is a situation vacant for an individual to join the sales team in their Aberdeen office. You may be a Sales Executive with relevant experience of selling similar products within one of these industries already, or you may be a competent Sales Assistant who would like to join a progressive, growing company in a position with huge potential for development into that of Sales Exec.

Key responsibilities for this role may include, but are not confined to:

- Sales co-ordination

- Quote handling

- Input on bigger tenders

- Administration

- Passing on and/or following up on sales leads

- Customer service

- Handling enquiries and closing smaller sales

EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES

You will be a confident, polite and effective communicator, ideally with customer service experience.

You must be organised and experienced in administrative tasks and sales co-ordination in a B2B context.

You need not be a graduate, but should have the ability to understand technical data and explain this to customers.

For the Exec role, you must have industry experience, however for the Assistant role, a high level of experience within all the key requirements, but in another industry will be considered.

There may be a degree of travel involved once you progress within this role.
