Our client has one of the world’s largest installed bases of heavy-duty gas turbines in more than 120 countries. This specialist business unit is a leader in Gas Turbine Inlet Filtration with over 2000 units installed worldwide. In order to further develop this expanding environmental service they now require a Marketing Manager to look at all areas of growth opportunity to achieve a very aggressive sales platform. Based in Hampshire our client offers an attractive salary and a unique opportunity to join a global market with immense potential.

 

To lead customer specification and commercialisation for an aggressive growth program that Integrates market and competitive analysis with customer VOC. You will also need to be capable of developing customer experience and product requirements as well as lead commercialisation efforts for specified program.

You will also need to have knowledge of market, competition and customer requirements and be able to work with the product line leader to develop NPI and commercial growth ideas. You will be expected to develop customer specifications through Voice of Customer and market analysis and be responsible for the initial NPI tollgates including market justifications and product requirements.

With Product Line Leader and Technology responsible for NPI justification and product specifications, it will be part of your role to develop a commercialisation program ensuring a match between customer need and our clients offering including value proposition, target and launch customers. You will be accountable for NPI commercialisation effectiveness including commercialisation expense, schedule, tollgates, leads and proforma orders, sales and CM.

Understanding competitive landscape, business competitiveness and opportunities for differentiation will be a key objective in your role. You will be responsible for identifying strategic growth initiatives, partnerships and potential acquisitions and leading process with product line team

 

You will need to have technical experience within the industry with ideally a knowledge of gas turbines and/or filtration. Prior commercial experience (sales, marketing, comm ops, etc) with a preference for marketing experience is vital.

Excellent program management, interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal) are essential. The ability to lead through influence and having good analytical skills are key requirements in this role. Six Sigma Certification would be beneficial as would being of graduate calibre in a technology or related field together with a Masters Degree in Marketing being preferred.
