Experienced Water candidate required to support and co-ordinate the company’s technical water auditors and to development binding relationships with customers to promote new services to maximise sales and profit. You should have experience in utilities, management skills and sales understanding.

 

Job Description:

 

This experienced energy broker is looking for a person to provide support to the company’s technical analysts and to develop binding relationships with water customers whilst promoting new services to achieve the revenue and profit targets set by the company.  They require an experienced individual with management and sales understanding within the energy industry.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

·      Confirmation of the services purchased and added value that this service brings throughout the life of the relationship,

·      Regular contact to ensure that client remains delighted with quality and breadth of service delivered by the company,

·      Manage all customer day to day enquires,

·      Process the Delivery of Quarterly Progress Reports to maintain the flow of information to the customer,

·      Promote new services to achieve the financial targets set by the company,

·      Build a solid working relationship with the client based upon trust and integrity.

·      Working with the Technical Water Analyst you must manage all activities associated with the delivery of the water and waste water savings identified within the Site Survey Report.

·      Develop strong commercial relationships with all water suppliers to assist with the efficiency implement and customer savings and refund recovery applications.

·      Where you gain additional services or sites from your existing customers fully analyse and implement all water and waste water saving opportunities.

·      Liaise with the Senior Water Consultant to identify and develop new products and services.  

·      Maintain a comprehensive understanding of industry related water charges and recovery procedures, regulatory matters and competitors product offerings.

·      Maintain the financial projection, invoicing, credit control and the analysis of forecasted vs. invoiced billings. Also requires the maintaining of the Management Report to the satisfaction of the Managing Director

·      Ensure you progress each customer invoice and receive payment in accordance with the company’s Credit Control Policy.

·      Provide analytical support to the Technical Water Analyst as and when required.

 

Personal Specification:

 

Qualifications

·      Proven experience in delivering water related consultancy services typically relating to cost saving and water consumption reduction.

·      A history of successfully managing customer relationships.

·      A comprehensive understanding of the water industry with particular reference to consultancy performance services. 

·      Good qualifications to include Maths, English and Science

·      a degree would be preferable

·      Formal training and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP, Word, Excel, Explorer, E-Mail, PowerPoint & Sage CRM

·      experience at building relationships with customers & suppliers

·      understands what delivering  “a service” means

·      a self starter who likes to get the job done properly first time

·      a critical eye for detail

Experience & Skill Set:

·      Exceptional oral and written communication skills

·      Excellent organisational and presentation skills

·      Highly numerate

·      Advanced Excel and Word 

·      Exceptional interpersonal skills

·      Able to multi task and prioritise their own workload

 

Circumstances:

·      Live within 60 minutes of the office

·      prepared to work the necessary hours to deliver the goods

·      stable employment background able to provide 2 references from previous employers

 

You will generally be required to work from home and attend a fortnight team meeting.
