Our Client, a leading energy and environmental engineering consultancy is looking for a candidate with background in design, construction or operation of Energy from Waste Plants.

Duties will include, conceptual design, assisting in the preparation of plant specifications, the assessment of contractor’s proposals and the review of contractors’ designs during project implementation.

Experience in a contracting organisation, an OEM or within a consultancy is equally desirable. The candidate should have experience of incineration plants from waste reception through to energy recovery and flue gas clean up.

Additional experience in any of the following fields would be advantageous: -

• Gasification and/or pyrolysis of waste.

• Biomass fired power plants

• Balance of plant systems.

• Piping systems.

• Project Management.

• Construction.

• Testing and commissioning.

• Working towards becoming a chartered engineer,
