CAD Technician, with mechanical experience bias to strengthen our CAD capability in the Nottinghamshire. We would consider, candidates who are looking to work on short term/temp contracts as well as full time permanent contracts. The role will involve design and detailing work on a range of water projects, including clean and waste water, treatment works, urban water pipe networks, pipe flow, pumping stations, mechanical GA and detail drawings.. You should also have experience of producing high quality output from CAD systems for use in contract documents and reports. The ideal candidate will be a HNC/HND qualified technician with previous UK experience of water projects. Successful experience of operating AutoCAD is required Some experience of 3D would be an advantage but not a prerequisite. Reporting to a Senior Engineer you will work within a team of engineers and technicians in order to deliver quality design solutions to time and budget. This will principally involve preparing feasibility and detail design drawings, but may also involve assisting with the preparation of reports, calculations, specifications and contract documents, and undertaking site visits and inspections.  Please contact Melissa Self on 020 7531 5757 or melissa.self@anglo.com to discuss further.
