Our Client is an International multi-disciplinary consultancy widely recognised as the experts in offshore wind. They are currently undertaking exciting, prestigious and unprecedented new projects including France and Belgium's first offshore wind farms. They are also working on various other offshore wind farms in the UK, Holland and Germany. Our client is currently at the forefront of the expanding renewable energy market and they are currently the only European company leading lender engineering services for offshore wind projects.

Their onshore portfolio includes various projects throughout Europe and this consultancy are fast establishing their global reputation as the consultant of choice for customers ranging from government agencies, investors, project developers, utilities and financial institutions.

Due to the current boom and the expanding demand for global services in onshore and offshore wind and owing to significant expansion in their wind teams our client is looking for a highly ambitious and tenacious individual to take a leading management role in their wind business.

Reporting to a divisional director, the successful applicant will take global ownership for onshore and offshore wind within the renewable energy business with responsibility for business development, project delivery and business growth. In addition to the overall wind energy leadership, the Wind Energy Manager will act as line manager for a team of engineers working on a full range of renewable technologies.

This is a senior managerial role involving participation in the management of the overall sub-division for environment, renewable and advisory services. Liaison across a number of business areas will be a key factor to achieve global reach and to optimise opportunities for the wind business. Our client requires an individual with excellent communication skills, business acumen and leadership skills.

The role will provide the opportunity to travel extensively throughout the UK and Europe while working with a dynamic group of professionals on a diverse number of exciting new projects.
