Due to significant success within our clients current Renewable Energy business, a number of talented individuals are being sought to complement the project delivery team.

As an experienced project engineer/consultant on windfarms, you will have an in depth understanding of the wind industry as well project development process (resource assessment, conceptual design, EIA and planning, site infrastructure, commercial development, project finance etc.).

Experience of onshore wind is essential, offshore wind experience would be beneficial. Knowledge of other renewable and conventional power technologies would be an advantage as would first-hand construction / commissioning experience.

You will have exposure to:

• Wind and Energy Resource Analysis
• Landscape and Visual (Photomontages)
• Access Studies and Review
• Conceptual Civil Design & Layout
• Construction, Erection and Commissioning
• Turbine Selection and Comparison
• Shadow Flicker
• Noise
• Radcoms
• ZVIs
• Small Wind Turbine Inspection
• Due Diligence Experience
• Database maintenance and development
• Essential Software needs: Windfarm - Resoft; Wind Pro; WAsP - Wind analysis software; Surfer; Autocad; Auto Track; Mapinfo - GIS; Corel Draw.

An ability to take on staff management responsibility would be highly advantageous.

The main tasks & responsibilities will include: Project Management; Project Delivery; Product Development; Input in EIA; Appointment will also be considered at Principal Consultant grade for more experienced candidates.
