I am looking for a Project Manager for a client based in Aberdeen. The ideal candidate will have Project Management experience, a relevant degree, preferably in Chemical Engineering and be able to commit to long-term work. You must be enthusiastic and able to work to strict deadlines. The role will consist of: Management of R and D staff on a day to day basis Development and Management of R and D budgets (liase with FD and CEO) Day to Day liaison with specific RGU staff Planning of R and D programme (liase with CEO and Tech staff) Commercial lead in R and D Performance management of R and D staff Support CEO in formulation and implementation of IP plan Financial management of IP portfolio and monthly reporting Work closely with FD on budgeting Collaboration with FD in securing product development grant aid Recruitment of technical staff (liase with CEO) Support CEO in commercial dealings with suppliers. Collaborative dealings with specific 3rd parties as determined by CEO Oil and Gas experience is desirable but not essential.
