Our client provides engineering services to the mining industry at all stages of project development from exploration, operation, closure as well as rehabilitation of international mine sites. They are looking to employ a Project Delivery Manager for one of their most high profile UK based projects.

The Project Delivery Manager will be involved in an on-going stabilisation and preservation project for an existing limestone mine. Managing a multi-disciplined project team of specialist civil, structural and geotechnical engineers, you will manage coordinate the technical engineering requirements whilst being the primary contact for the client.

Due to the large number of stakeholders, you will have patience, perseverance and an ability to communicate, advise and negotiate with councils, public interest groups whilst remaining professional and reflecting the quality and standards of the company.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Civil Engineering and have at least 8 years experience within a Project Management role within the mining or construction industry. Knowledge of stabilisation and concrete pouring is an advantage.
