Process Engineer / Scientist based in Sussex. Principal Duties include: Inputs to process projects and prospects.  Technical advice and support to prospects & projects with process or water quality components.  Research and development, inputs to knowledge management, authoring papers and articles.  Secondary Duties include: Process Group newsletter; websites (potable and wastewater). Business development (in liaison with Market Sector Directors). Essential Qualifications: Chemistry or chemical engineering degree from a high-ranked institution. Working to be a chartered Engineer/Scientist.  Desirable Qualifications: Membership of or affiliated to specialist treatment organisations/institutions. Commissioning experience Essential Experience: Knowledge of wastewater domestic treatment processes including advanced processes, sludge treatment & disposal. Familiarity with water industry process contractors. An understanding of health and safety and project management. Desirable Experience: Knowledge of odour control, water and industrial wastewater treatment. Experience with consultants, contractors, lenders, manufacturers, regulatory bodies, governing institutes and legal entities.  Excellence in English language - spoken and written.
