The ideal candidate will typically be working on New Build and/or Nuclear Clean-up and remediation programmes and experience in these areas will be a distinct advantage.

The role will cover numerous responsibilities associated with the role of Project Engineer including,

• being fully aware of the technical and commercial obligations,
• conversant with the project control estimates,
• preparation of monthly progress reports
• Liaison with all relevant parties within the project and client as required.

Ideally you will be degree qualified in an Engineering discipline or have a sound engineering background (mechanical, electrical, civil and/or fuel route).

You will have proven experience of running / assisting projects and working in a team in a safety critical environment (nuclear, power station etc) with a demonstrable track record of :

• delivering results,
• managing people/contractors,
• producing project estimates,
• controlling project finances,
• identifying issues
• proposing solutions.

Demonstrable excellent communication skills is a pre-requisite. The ability to present solutions and costs, in a clear and concise manner is also required. You will be able to demonstrate good commercial skills, problem solving ability and document writing skills. Leadership and negotiating skills would be an advantage.
