Managing Quantity Surveyor - Thames valley. We are currently looking for Managing Quantity Surveyors to work within the Thames Valley area. The principle purpose of the role is to ensure that Senior Project Quantity Surveyors and Project Quantity Surveyors carry out their duties in accordance with the procedure manual for civils quantity surveyors. Duties include but are not limited to the following: Interpretation and understanding of obligations, responsibilities and liabilities of the parties to the contract Provide advice and guidance to the site team as appropriate Responsible with the contract managers to set up site procedures and reporting systems, which will enable accurate feedback in the form of budgets, monthly progress and management accounts. Responsible for organising and archiving of all essential project documentation Provides contribution to the resolution of problems, be they, commercial, contractual or construction related Responsible for the welfare, motivation and development of all quantity surveyors within the project area Ensure that all contractual notices relating to time and money entitlements are issued to the client.
