Description
Infrastructure and Non-Infrastructure Asset Investment Planner. Cambridge. This role entails working in teams, in a collaborative environment, and therefore you must be able to interact positively with senior and junior staff alike. You will have experience of investment planning at both a detailed and business plan level, the principles of the Common Framework and risk-based techniques as well as a detailed knowledge of economic regulation (preferably UK context). risk analysis skills using Monte Carlo analysis and optimisation algorithms, serviceability assessments, asset information systems. The candidate should have particular knowledge of planning for non-infrastructure assets (water and/or wastewater) typical treatment and pumping technologies and associated maintenance and customer service issues. A multidisciplinary knowledge of civil/mechanical/process/chemical engineering, and in particular the water sector will be advantage. You will be expected to have an involvement in project management and planning and the financial and commercial management and of projects. We invite applications from experienced people from a range of disciplines, although engineering is likely to be the most relevant, with significant relevant experience. Candidates should preferably be qualified to degree level and chartered or working towards a professional qualification status. You will be an innovative thinker and effective communicator who is able to manage projects in a client-facing role. A positive and presentable attitude to work is very important.
