Description
To work as a part of a team on a wide variety of sewerage and multi-disciplinary projects, including significant level studies for water companies, developers, local authorities, industrial clients and central government organisations. You will be based within a team of Wastewater Network Modellers but will be given opportunities to work closely with other disciplines. Typical duties would include production of reports, modelling, data gathering and analysis and liaison with clients and third parties. For the right candidates opportunities exist for rapid progression to assistant project manager/project manager roles. Entry on to our structured training schemes for either the ICE or CIWEM is available depending on your qualifications and preference.
BSc/BENG/ qualification as a minimum. Previous experience of wastewater network modelling using Infoworks CS and Mapinfo software is essential as well as Microsoft Office software. Ability to plan flow, manhole, pumping station and CSO surveys under supervision is necessary. You must also have knowledge and experience of model build, verification and optioneering process and a basic understanding of hydraulics.
