Description
Chartered civil engineer/geologist required to establish, manage and develop an office in Yorkshire. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the geotechnical industry including employment with a site investigation contractor.
This position represents an outstanding opportunity for a confident engineer with good technical and communication skills. The successful applicant would be expected to grow the turnover of the office considerably over the next 1-2 years and 3-4 years.
Main responsibilities will be to organise and undertake site investigations, but in time it would expected that the person would have identified their own clients to provide work. As the office grows the manager would be expected to undertake fewer investigations personally and take more of a managerial role of the staff and business.
Our client is looking for candidates who have extensive experience with site investigation contractors and are currently responsible for a small team of geotechnical engineers. The successful applicant would need to have a degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology or Geology and would preferably be chartered (MICE or CGeol).
Required Skills: Geological, Business Development, Geotechnical Engineering
Minimum Qualification: Bachelors Degree Hons or equivalent
