The Role
� Implementation of associated changes in timely, cost-effective manner following release of new or modified design by R&D
� Participation in cross-functional meetings associated with product enhancement and general changes in order to agree appropriate release and implementation strategy.
� Guide and prompt various company functional areas in order to co-ordinate global design change activities. This includes chairing meetings, documenting and reviewing actions with representatives from R&D, Commercial and Production areas.
� Coordinate with Industrialisation Project Engineers on new product development projects.
� Maintain, develop and review the company change control records & systems to ensure processes meet the business requirements.
� Participate in or lead relevant process improvement projects as required.
� Report the progress of global change control implementation on a monthly basis using defined KPI�s
� Project Manage effectively all Industrialisation aspects of product enhancement projects in order to achieve fully the project requirements.
� Co-ordinate the other Industrialisation functional teams activities in line with project requirements.
� Co-ordinate activities external to Industrialisation in line with project requirements.
� Assess, track and report Industrialisation costs at project level.
� Produce Product Industrialisation Plans for all assigned New Product Introduction projects.
� Provision of guidance and advice to commercial and production personnel in response to day-to-day queries.
The Person
You will be educated to HNC level or equivalent in Engineering, with experience within an Industrialisation process environment. You will have a good understanding of SAP master data procedures and a sound appreciation of impact of design changes and importance of their cost-effective co-ordination and implementation. Some project management experience would be advantageous. In addition you will have a good understanding of PCB assembly and final product structures. You will have a good understanding of hardware development methodologies and the ability to work with and analyse technical information, such as drawings, wiring diagrams, product specifications, etc. You will be fully conversant in Microsoft Office applications. You will have excellent attention to detail, along with good communication and interpersonal skills.
