Description
Project manage tasks in support of the development of In Water Maintenace And Repair (IWMAR) procedures and capabilities. Provide IWMAR advice to all MoD authorities. This includes guidance on the application of IWMAR techniques and the use of MoD and Commercial IWMAR support. Maintain, update and upgrade the MoD Under Water Engineering Knowledge Base. (Web based database of Underwtaeer Engineering Techniques Act as secretary to the IWMAR Steering Group. Core Competences – required background experience and attributes: Essential: Working Together, Communicating and Influencing, Managing Customers and Suppliers, Improvement & Change Desirable: Planning and Managing Resources to Deliver Business Results, Programme & Project Management.
Functional Competences: Essential: Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture Desirable: Familiarity with Maritime Policies and procedures Provide a focal point for the provision of Under Water Engineering advice and support to MoD authorities in accordance with the Under Water Engineering Business Plan and programme of work. Including guidance on the application of Under Water Engineeering techniques and development of procedures & capability.

Minimum Qualification: Bachelors Degree Hons or equivalent
