Description
Our client is a leading consultancy in the Water & Environmental sector with offices across the UK and overseas they are currently recruiting for their exanding environmental team in Chester.
As Senior Environmental Scientist your principal purpose will be to manage and deliver Environmental Impact Assessments for major government and industry projects.
Key duties are as follows:
The candidate should have an excellent grounding in EIA and SEA preferably related to flood/coastal management/water/utility or energy projects.
Good project management skills and the knowledge of PSC contracts is also desirable as is working knowledge of pollution prevention and control and/or town planning and landscape assessment.
Education - Environmental Degree - essential / Masters (equivalent) - desirable
Professional Qualifications - IEEM/IEMA/CIWEM
Personal Attributes-Self starter, highly motivated. Candidate must be a team player and able to communicate effectively.

Minimum Qualification: Bachelors Degree Hons or equivalent
