Mechanical Piping/Design Engineer .We are looking for an experienced designer and piping engineer, ideally with a mechanical background.  The role will be on a contract basis and will be based predominantly at our Grangemouth office, although support to other UK sites may be required. Looking for someone who is proficient with Autocad and who will be responsible for all draughting duties including - designing, modelling and creating all aspects of design drawing.   This is not someone who can only trace drawings, but someone who has the experience and ability to start with a blank piece of paper and build up the design and modelling of process packages, pipe supports, pipe runs and piping isometrics. CAD experience with the ability to interface with CAD operators. Pipeline experience, particularly in design work. Hands on pipeline designer/installation. General knowledge of chemical engineering and installations from a mechanical perspective. Knowledge of pipe conventions and design. Knowledge of Water and wastewater treatment (Desirable).
