Lead Design Engineer - Civil - Water - Reading. A generalist Civil Water and Wastewater Lead Design Engineer to work in a new team being formed to deliver work for key water industry clients in central, southern and west regions of the UK.  There are excellent opportunities for career advancement in this rapidly expanding Division. Significant post graduate experience of general Civil Engineering design work with particular regard to either water and wastewater networks and/or treatment works. Leading and working in multi-disciplinary teams of civil, mechanical, process and electrical and CAD engineers. The candidate must be able to interact positively with senior and junior staff alike and within the client environment. The candidate will be required to have an awareness of project and programme management and be aware of and understand the commercial and financial consequences of their actions and the actions of others.  A track record of providing one or more of the following: site visits and survey/data collection;  feasibility and outline design; detailed design; drawings; specifications;  Experience in the preparation of proposals. An enthusiastic approach with good attention to detail.Used to working to tight deadlines but maintaining a high standard of work. Chartered or very near to it  Significant Water Industry experience.
