They are looking to make a strategic staff appointment for a principal civil/structural engineer for their office in Greater Manchester. The successful candidate will take a second in the department roll as well as the lead engineer on appropriate project work.

Applicants should have experience in the general chemical and petro-chemical fields and working in a multidiscipline environment. A bias in either structural or civil engineering is anticipated but the candidate must have experience in both disciplines reflecting the workload of the department.

The candidate must be a competent Staad Pro user; must be pro-active and able to liaise with client/contractors and other disciplines and be able to supervise engineers and designers as part of the role. You will be accountable to the Civil Structural Engineering Manager.
