Our client is an internationally recognised engineering consultancy, specialising in transport, water and maritime sectors, with experience in infrastructure development worldwide, employing over 6000 people worldwide, including 1000 in our water business.

Over the last two years, their Australian business has grown significantly and they are continuing to experience exciting levels of growth in the Australasian market whereby we aim to double our presence by 2010.

Due to this growth they are now looking for a Principal Engineer to join the team. This is a newly created role allowing the successful candidate to build their own team . You will have the opportunity to initiate/lead water, waste water and storm water projects in a broad range of areas such as pipelines, tunnelling and pumping stations to mention a few.

Your experience and background will form part of the business� future direction.

To be considered for this role you will ideally have the following-

� A strong Design background preferably in water utility/or consulting

� Experience in water both in Design & Construction

� A reputation for professional �Hands On� Project Management
