Based in their office in South Manchester office, their water & wastewater team are keen to appoint an additional team member on a permanent basis to work on a variety of water and wastewater projects. Key Objectives The principal job role will be to undertake civil engineering design and engineering as part of a team delivering water and wastewater projects from conception through to construction on site. Typical projects include water and wastewater treatment works, service reservoirs, drainage schemes and outfalls. Key Responsibilities Elements of the role include; Civil engineering general arrangements Reinforced concrete design and /or interface with structural engineers on design Pipework layouts and pipelines Hydraulics Interfacing with mechanical and electrical engineers Job Requirements The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes; Masters Degree in Civil engineering or similar Chartered status or working towards Chartership Experience of water / wastewater treatment works or similar Knowledge of reinforced concrete design Additional Details Our client offers; A commitment to your personal and professional development A package that recognises and rewards success An environment that encourages a healthy work life balance with flexible working conditions Opportunities to work on a variety of interesting projects both in the UK and overseas
