Civil Engineers who are actively working towards Chartered status to join our existing teams in our Cheshire, Shropshire, West Yorkshire.  Assignments will cover strategy and feasibility studies, design and construction supervision and asset management predominantly in the UK but potentially overseas. The positions present exciting opportunities in an expanding business environment as part of a dynamic team and offers excellent prospects for personal development and career progression.  Candidates are to hold M Eng Civil Engineering or equivalent.  The ideal candidate for this role will need to have appropriate amount of civil engineering experience in either water, hydraulics or flood defence. In addition to the above, some experience of other areas such as flood risk assessment, economic appraisal, geotechnics, and structural design could be advantageous. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate good engineering and communication skills, the aptitude to work effectively in a team, enthusiasm for innovation and a willingness to learn. You will be part of a team working on a wide variety of engineering and flood risk management projects with experienced technical staff and project managers. Your contributions may include technical analysis to support flood management strategies or appraisals, outline or detailed design, preparation of contract documents, site supervision and asset management. You will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of personal work. There will be support and mentoring as you need it to ensure that your development is structured but that you are stretched to take on new and interesting challenges.
