Description
Our client is an international consulting business, based in the UK. They provide an integrated range of engineering, environmental, planning and management consulting services to the transport, property, development, environmental, water and renewable energy sectors. About the Role This is an exciting new role as an Assistant Engineer working on nuclear projects in support of the multi-billion pound UK decommissioning programme. You will work as part of a growing team based at their Westlakes Office in Cumbria. You will be involved in Civil / structural design of new build nuclear facilities (typically involves major reinforced concrete and steel styructures designed to resist seismic and extreme environmental loads). You will also be involved in assessment and modification of existing facilities, and site inspection and surveys. They currently have major projects in both design and construction at Sellafield providing ample opportunity for excellent Graduate experience. They have a comprehensive Graduate training programme to support the rapid achievement of Chartered status. About You You must be a Graduate in Civil and Structural engineering an MEng is preferred.
