Our client in the maritime industry have a vacancy for an experienced Cad Technician with RC detailing capabilities for up coming maritime projects in their Liverpool City Centre offices.

Reporting to the CAD Manager you will undertake the production of all types of CAD drawings, preferably including RC detailing and bending schedules, for projects from inception to completion, in accordance with company CAD standards. Key duties will include:-

• Processing of incoming data including drawings, schedules, photographs etc.
• Providing assistance with site surveys and inspections, and recording of information obtained.
• Establish and maintain quality systems and procedures

It is expected that following an initial period of in house training to become familiar with our working practices, you will be able to perform most tasks with minimal supervision and therefore take full responsibility for packages of work.

You must be proficient in use of AutoCAD, be a competent CAD draughtsperson and an experienced RC detailer. Ideally you will have an ONC/HNC/BTech or equivalent qualification in Civil, Structural Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical engineering. Additional skills in the use of 3D Modelling Software would be an advantage along with similar experience as CAD Technician in civil engineering office.
